Desh Bhagat University (DBU) successfully hosted Deeksharambh, its Student induction program for newly admitted students, with great enthusiasm and participation. The event aimed at welcoming freshers into the DBU family and preparing them for an enriching academic journey ahead. The event turned out to be a resounding success, filled with inspiring addresses, engaging sessions, and vibrant cultural performances. The program was graced by Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, and Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Pro-Chancellor, as the chief guests. The inaugural session began with a warm welcome address by Registrar Dr. Surinder Pal Kapoor, followed by an inspiring motivational address from Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, encouraging students to dream big and pursue excellence. Adding to the inspiration, Pankaj Thakkar, renowned motivational speaker and guest of honour, energized the gathering with his thought-provoking session that left the students motivated and enthusiastic about their future. The cultural vibrancy of the university shone through the electrifying performance of Firdaus Band, leaving the audience enthralled. Students also had the opportunity to interact with Deans, Directors, and faculty members, gaining valuable insights into the university’s academic environment, culture, and expectations.In a special highlight of the evening, Amit Kukreja, OSD to the President, performed live along with renowned singer Kamaljit Singh, adding a melodious touch to the celebration.
