Patna, Sep 28
RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Thursday met with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at the latter's residence in Patna in which they discussed seat sharing formula of opposition bloc INDIA in the state, sources said.
Lalu Prasad stayed at the Chief Minister's residence for half-an-hour and discussed the seat sharing formula as the Congress is demanding 10 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar.
Lalu Prasad is very close to Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi and former AICC president Rahul Gandhi and hence his decision related to seat sharing would not be ignored by the Congress top leadership, the sources said.
Earlier, after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Nitish went to Lalu Prasad's residence.
Nitish Kumar is disappointed with the internal development in the opposition bloc as he was expecting the post of convener, the sources added.
Nitish had recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in G20 dinner in New Delhi and also visited statue of one of the founding member of Jan Sangh, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay in Patna on his birth anniversary.
