Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal's health suddenly deteriorated yesterday evening. He has been admitted to the Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.
According to preliminary information, Dallewal has a blood pressure problem. After the commotion caused by the firing of tear gas shells by the police, they felt panicked. His eyes are also burning, due to which doctors have admitted him and started treatment.
On the other hand, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that the Haryana police behaved inhumanely on the Khanuri border and beat the elderly on the behest of the Centre. 25 tractors smashed and tires punctured.
He said that after the death of a farmer from Bathinda during a clash with the Haryana Police, he will conduct an inspection at the Khanuri border. He said that the Punjab government should enter the state boundary and investigate the ruckus committed by the paramilitary forces of Haryana.
