The new mayor of Chandigarh, Kuldeep Kumar, has taken over his post today. He was warmly welcomed in the municipal corporation today regarding his coronation. Meanwhile, Congress senior leader Pawan Bansal, Aam Aadmi Party's former in-charge Pradeep Chhabra and Aam Aadmi Party's co-in-charge Dr. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party councilors including Sunny Ahluwalia were present.
Meanwhile, the security in the municipal corporation mayor's office was very tight. Mayor Kuldeep Kumar said as soon as he assumed office that he would eliminate the dumping ground first.
Along with this, 20000 liters of water will be given free to the people of Chandigarh. He said that on March 4, the election of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be conducted in a fair manner.
