UT Cricket Association Chandigarh has changed the registration rules of players

UT Cricket Association Chandigarh has taken a new decision to give more opportunities to local players. Now it will not be easy for cricketers from outside states to get admission in UTCA. The UT Cricket Association is preparing to implement rules for registration for the 2024-25 season. This decision has been taken in an important meeting of the top officials of the UT Cricket Association.

Under the new rules, only those players who have been studying or living in schools, colleges in Chandigarh for the last three years (2021), will be eligible to participate in UTCA registration and trials for the 2024 season. This rule will apply to both boys and girls. The UT Cricket Association has started preparing the teams for the next season.

According to the information, the eligible players will be able to register with the UT Cricket Association from March 1 to 15 for the 2024 season. This time players will have to register online. Last year around 1800 boys and more than 100 women cricketers had registered. For boys, over 350 applications were received in Under-16 and over 400 in Under-19. There will be trials for girls under-15, under-19, under-23 and junior teams.
