The Enforcement Directorate has also summoned Aam Aadmi Party leader Kailash Gehlot in the Delhi liquor scam. ED has called him for questioning today itself. Kailash Gehlot is currently the Transport Minister in the Delhi government. Many AAP leaders including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have already been arrested in this case.
Recently, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot had shared a poster of Kejriwal with the tagline 'India with Kejriwal'. He wrote, "The entire country is standing with the son of Delhi. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, voices are being raised in support of Kejriwal. The people of the country will not leave alone the staunch patriot who is changing the politics of the country."
AAP's national convenor Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 in a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy and he is in the custody of the Central Investigation Agency till April 1. Later Sisodia is lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail.
