Chandigarh, April 9 (Agency) : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that the excise policy case against Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP leaders is the biggest political conspiracy after independence.
Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, on Tuesday, Sanjay Singh said this case has been registered under a conspiracy and there is no intention of investigating any scam. The motive is to topple the Aam Aadmi Party governments in Delhi and Punjab, both the governments of thumping majority. It is an attempt to stop the growing popularity of the Aam Aadmi Party and its achievement of getting national party status in 10 years. He said that if anyone committed any scam it was the BJP and a 60 crore money trail that has been found against them. Everyone knows that.
He said that in the case of Arvind Kejriwal ji, false witnesses were prepared, baseless allegations were made. He said that 10-10 statements were recorded but only 2 were produced in the court. Rest are hidden because they do not match their propaganda and don't include needed lies. Magunta Reddy gave 10 statements, in the last two statements as soon as they mentioned Kejriwal ji's name, immediately his son Raghav Reddy got bail. Magunta, against whom the BJP actually started this investigation, is now asking for votes under the BJP's banner and putting Modi's picture everywhere. But when he named Arvind Kejriwal in his statement he got bail for his back pain.
Sanjay Singh said that Chandan Reddy, another witness, his ear was injured, they tore his eardrum, he even appealed against it to the High Court. Sameer Mahendru and Arun Pellu were pressurised and intimated to name Arvind Kejriwal because they wanted to make this whole case against him. He said that I want to ask the most corrupt party and their government after the independence of India that when the money trail of 60 crore rupees was found directly against you, why are your leaders not being interrogated by ED and CBI, why not AG wrote a letter now? What is the reason that the company whose profit is zero, that company is giving hundreds of crores of funds to you people? There are fake firms and companies donating hundreds of crores to the BJP, why ED and CBI are not investigating that? which have become fake companies and are donating to the BJP for elections. Why don't BJP leaders get questioned and arrested? Why aren't they raided?
He reiterated that this entire case is fake, it is only a political conspiracy against Arvind Kejriwal. The statements that did not mention the name of Arvind Kejriwal are deliberately being left out of the proceedings and are not being put in front of the court. If all the facts are not presented before the court, then how will justice be done? Arvind Kejriwal's lawyers are doing their work, the lawyers are constantly inspecting the documents. He hoped that soon Arvind Kejriwal will get justice from the High Court
He continued that there is a process of the justice system and many times there is a lapse in the judicial process. There are many irregularities in PMLA in which the provisions of getting bail are very difficult when you do not present the whole truth before the court and the whole matter is not coming before the court. More than 20,000 pages have been kept in unreliable documents means 20,000 papers are being hidden by the ED and they are saying that they don't trust them. But under section 15 of PMLA it is mentioned that no one can give false statements, if you give false testimony then legal action will be taken against you. If there are statements that are unreliable then why no action is being taken against the people who gave those statements. Eight statements were recorded by a person before he took the name of Arvind Kejriwal, but instead of action against his false statements, as soon as he took the name of Kejriwal, he got bail.
He said that Sharath Reddy gave 12 statements, he got arrested on Nov 10th, on Nov 15th he gave the BJP fund of 5 crores and 50 crores through electoral bonds. Will there be no investigation into the bribe of Rs 55 crores? So we have complete trust in our judiciary that when the hidden statements will be presented before the court then Arvind Kejriwal will get relief and this false case will be quashed. The false statements are taken by beating and intimidating the witnesses, this is on record, testimonies are being hidden so one day truth will prevail and justice will be delivered.
He further said that right now in our country, there is such a government that changes the decision of the constitutional bench of supreme court judges inside the Parliament. You must remember that five judges had given the decision in favour of the Delhi government. Certain power should be with the Delhi government, despite this, the dictator Prime Minister changed the decision given in favour of Delhi, in favour of democracy and constitution, the decision of five judges was changed in the Parliament. When the Chief Justice was included in the process of appointment of Election Commissioners, the Prime Minister and the BJP government said that no, we will appoint the Election Commissioners and the Supreme Court's decision was changed inside the Parliament once again.
He said when ED and CBI have to investigate against Arvind Kejriwal, they become all powerful and know it all but when it comes to the BJP they say that we do not remember anything, we did not see anything, this is a blatant misuse of investigation agencies. The Aam Aadmi Party is contesting elections on 23 seats, Aam Aadmi Party's ministers, MLAs and workers will campaign wholeheartedly on every seat plus all seats and states where we are contesting with the INDIA alliance. He said that this 400 plus is just a hollow slogan, nothing else. Now Modi is just getting nervous and this nervousness is because he knows they are losing.
