On this day, schools, colleges, educational institutions and other commercial units across the state are going to be a holiday. In fact, a holiday has been declared by the government on the occasion of Ram Naomi. Government schools, colleges and other government institutions will remain closed on this day.
The festival of Ram Naomi is celebrated with great fanfare throughout the country including Punjab. Ram Naomi has been declared a public holiday in the list of public holidays for the year 2024 released by the government.
