DBU & DB Global School’s Both NCC Wings Organize Voter’s Awareness Rally

 

 

Desh Bhagat University's NCC Wings, in collaboration with Desh Bhagat Global School's NCC Wings, successfully organized a Voter’s Awareness Rally. The event was a joint effort by the NCC Wings (Air/Army & Navy) of both institutions, showcasing their commitment to civic engagement and social responsibility. Under the guidance of  Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro. Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, the rally commenced from Desh Bhagat University Playground, attracting enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, and students/NCC Cadets of both institutions. The Advisor to Chancellor Dr. Virender Singh emphasized the significance of voting as a fundamental right and civic duty for every citizen. The rally, led by Dr. Varinder Singh, Registrar Dr. Sudip Mukherjee, Dr. Pramod Mandal, and coordinated by CTOs Dr. Ajaypal Singh (Army Wing), Mr. Gurjeet Singh Pandher (Air Wing), Ms. Chamanpreet Kaur (Navy Wing), and Accharpal Singh traversed through Amloh, Mandi Gobindgarh, and Khanna City. The active participation and enthusiasm of all wings, CTOs, and NCC Cadets were instrumental in spreading awareness about the importance of voting. The event received encouragement and support from university leaders including Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhijeet Joshi and Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, who highlighted the need for continuous efforts in creating awareness for societal welfare. With a turnout of 112 individuals from Desh Bhagat University and Desh Bhagat Global School, including staff, faculty, and students/NCC Cadets, the Voter’s Awareness Rally proved to be a resounding success. It not only instilled a sense of civic duty but also strengthened the bond between the institutions and the local communities of Amloh, Mandi Gobindgarh, and Khanna.
