Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing organized the Menstrual Hygiene Program

An awareness program on “Menstrual Hygiene” was diligently conducted by Nursing students of Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing (DBIN) under an initiative of the “Menstrual Hygiene Scheme” launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to increase awareness among adolescent girls on Menstrual Hygiene.This initiative actively engaged female students from grades 7th to 12th at Desh Bhagat Global School, Mandi Gobindgarh showcasing the institution's steadfast commitment to promote health education and awareness in the community under the guidance and support of Prof. Lovesampuranjot Kaur, Director of DBIN and Prof. Prabhjot Singh, Head of the Department of Community Health Nursing. The enthusiastic participation of students in this awareness program where they had the opportunity to address their doubts regarding myths and misconceptions related to menstruation, highlights its significant impact on them. The principal of Desh Bhagat Global School, Rajneesh Madan appreciated the initiative of the faculty & students of DBIN for organizing this awareness program for the adolescent girl students.
