In a special ceremony organized by Desh Bhagat Radio (107.8 FM) and Tricity Senior Citizens Association, Chandigarh, artists, Desh Bhagat University 's Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur paid tribute to Rafi honoring his eternal contribution to music.
