Desh Bhagat Global School students recently visited Desh Bhagat University (DBU) for an educational excursion designed to broaden their academic horizons and inspire future career aspirations. The visit, organized under the guidance of the Principal Indu Sharma for the students of III to XII, aimed to provide students with a glimpse into university life and the various academic opportunities available.The day-long visit began with a warm welcome by the university staff and a comprehensive tour of the campus. Students had the chance to explore the state-of-the-art facilities, including University Bakery, Pharmacy, Library, Supermarket, Engineering Department, Cooperative society Bank.During the visit, students attended interactive sessions and workshops conducted by university faculty members. These sessions covered a range of topics, including advancements in technology, environmental sustainability, and the importance of interdisciplinary studies. Students were particularly engaged during a hands-on science experiment demonstration in the university's advanced research lab.Students fully enjoyed it and thanked the school Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and general secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur for organizing such tours. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, addressed the visiting students, emphasizing the importance of higher education and the role it plays in personal and professional development.
