It is a matter of pride and joy for Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, that student Gunjeet Singh, a B.Tech. (2019-2023 batch) and M.Tech. student, and a cadet of NCC Air Wing, has been selected as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. The college spokesperson stated that Gunjeet Singh has joined the Officer Training Academy in Chennai and has been granted a Short Service Commission in the rank of Lieutenant on probation. Flying Officer Gagandeep Singh, ANO, mentioned that Gunjeet was a promising cadet of the Air Wing and obtained the NCC 'C' Certificate with an 'A' grade. The Principal of the college, Dr. Lakhvir Singh, congratulated Gunjeet Singh, saying that his achievement is a matter of pride for the college. His journey from a student to an officer in the Indian Army will serve as an inspiration for other students.
