The School of Nursing at Desh Bhagat University (DBU) organized a highly motivational and career-focused session titled “Elevate: Your Career Journey”, aimed at guiding nursing students toward success in key competitive exams like NCLEX, NORCET, and various state and national-level recruitment tests.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, who offered their unwavering support to the aspiring nursing professionals and lauded the initiative for empowering future healthcare leaders. The session opened with a heartfelt welcome by Dr. Lovesampuranjot Kaur, Principal, School of Nursing, and Dr. Prabhjot Singh, Head of the Department. The highlight of the event was an engaging and insightful presentation by Navkiran, a well-known career coach and motivational speaker. She captivated the audience with practical strategies for cracking challenging nursing exams such as the NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) and NORCET (Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test). Her talk focused on smart study methods, effective time management, and building mental resilience - key traits for success in competitive environments.bStudents from both B.Sc. Nursing and GNM programs actively participated in the session.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Ravideep Kaur, Sunaina Sharma, Ms. Bhupinder Kaur, and Lovepreet Kaur, with the full support of the dedicated faculty team whose collaborative efforts ensured the session’s success.
