Baba Banda Singh Bahadur's Martyrdom Day Celebrated at Kila Lohgarh

The Shaheedi Diwas of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was observed with great fervor and enthusiasm at Gurudwara Yadgar Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Kila Lohgarh Sahib (Mukhlisgarh), Haryana. The event was organized by the Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal under the leadership of Baba Balbir Singh, the chief of Budha Dal.
The ceremony began with the culmination of Akhand Path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, followed by soulful Kirtan performances by renowned Ragis. Prominent Dhadi Jathas and Kavishars recited poetry and narrated the glorious history of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. Addressing the congregation, Baba Balbir Singh Ji highlighted the significance of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur's martyrdom and his contributions to Sikh history. He mentioned that Baba Banda Singh Bahadur had established Kila Lohgarh as his capital after conquering Sirhind and Sadhaura. During the event, the foundation stone for the main Darbar Hall of the Gurudwara Sahib was laid by five Panj Pyare. The ceremony was attended by a large gathering of devotees, who paid their respects to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur's legacy. Baba Balbir Singh Ji also visited Gurudwara Tambu Sahib, Patshahi Pehli, Kopal Mochan, and Gurudwara Angitha Shaheed Baba Tapa Singh Ji in Chhachhroli, inspecting the Sangat's arrangements. Prominent figures such as Baba Malook Singh, Baba Baldev Singh, Baba Amandeep Singh, and others were present during the occasion.
