The Department of Media and Performing Arts at Desh Bhagat University successfully conducted a hands-on workshop titled "Photography: Its Techniques and Skills," drawing enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and photography aficionados across the campus.
The workshop was led by Sunny Suryavanshi, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Performing Arts (FOPA), who guided attendees through a comprehensive exploration of both foundational and advanced photography techniques. Key topics included lighting, composition, camera settings, and post-processing methods. Participants engaged in practical sessions and interactive discussions, allowing them to deepen their understanding of the artistic and technical dimensions of photography in a collaborative and creative environment. “Workshops like this are integral to our goal of offering students experiential learning opportunities that go beyond the classroom,” said Dr. Surjit Kaur Patheja, Director, Performing Arts and Media, Desh Bhagat University.
