Desh Bhagat University Hosts Grand Graduation Ceremony for International Students

 

Desh Bhagat University (DBU) celebrated a momentous occasion today with the Graduation and Passing Out Ceremony for its international students. The event marked a proud milestone in the academic journey of the university's diverse international student community. A total of 10 international students were conferred degrees and diplomas across Postgraduate, Graduate, and Diploma programs. These graduates hailed from a range of countries, including South Sudan, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa, and Nigeria, showcasing DBU’s continued commitment to global education and international collaboration. The ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, who served as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, President Dr. Sandeep Singh, and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, along with the Director of International Affairs, deans, and faculty members. Their presence added prestige to the event and reinforced the leadership’s unwavering support for international students. In their addresses, the dignitaries praised the perseverance, adaptability, and academic dedication of the international graduates. They emphasized DBU’s vision of delivering inclusive, high-quality education that empowers students to become global leaders and change makers.The Director of International Department Er. Arun Malik extended its heartfelt congratulations to the graduates and expressed deep pride in their accomplishments. Adding to the festive spirit, the event featured cultural performances by international students, followed by group photographs to commemorate the day.
