Dr. Sandeep Singh, President of Desh Bhagat University Honored by Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir

In a noteworthy recognition of his contributions to education and youth empowerment, Dr. Sandeep Singh, President of Desh Bhagat University, Punjab, was honored by Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir. The felicitation took place during the Mega Job Fair 2025, held in Jammu. The event, a joint initiative by Desh Bhagat University and the Cluster University of Jammu, drew an overwhelming response from students and job seekers across the region. As Chief Guest Manoj Sinha commended the university for launching this landmark initiative aimed at empowering the youth through direct interaction with leading employers. This large-scale recruitment drive offered participants a valuable platform to connect with top industry representatives and explore promising career opportunities. In his keynote address, Manoj Sinha praised Desh Bhagat University for its steadfast commitment to youth development. “Such job fairs serve as vital bridges between education and employment,” he remarked. “I commend Dr. Sandeep Singh and his team for this commendable initiative.” Upon receiving the honor, Dr. Sandeep Singh expressed his gratitude and reiterated the university’s commitment to organizing more events that align with national objectives of skill development, employability, and inclusive growth. “This recognition is a testament to our dedication to holistic student development and our responsibility towards national progress,” said Dr. Singh. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University; Pro Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur; and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti extended their heartfelt congratulations and lauded the university’s exceptional achievement.
