Desh Bhagat Global School recently hosted a vibrant Teej celebration, marked by enthusiasm, tradition, and cultural pride. Students dressed in colorful, traditional attire, creating a festive ambiance. Girls from classes IV to XII captivated the audience with their remarkable cultural presentations, showcasing the richness of Punjabi heritage through energetic Bhangra and graceful Giddha performances.The highlight of the event was the Miss Teej 2025 competition. Ashveer Kaur, a student of Class XII, was crowned Miss Teej 2025, while Bhavnisha was honored as Best Performer, and Gurleen Kaur was awarded the title of Ethnic Elegance. Students also enjoyed applying mehndi and wearing traditional bangles. Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and General Secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur praised the participants for their outstanding performances. Principal Ms. Indu Sharma spoke on the cultural importance of Teej. Traditional sweets and swings added to the joy, making the celebration both memorable and educational, fostering cultural appreciation among students.
