During the orientation program organized for the 2025 batch of new students at Baba Banda Singh Bahadar Engineering College, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Dr. Avtar Singh delivered an informative lecture on the topic Mysteries of the Universe. Addressing the students, he explained concepts related to stars, galaxies, black holes, and the Big Bang theory in a simple yet scientific manner. At the conclusion of the program, his book Mysteries of the Universe was formally released by the college principal, Dr. Lakhvir Singh. He stated that this book would prove to be highly beneficial in fostering scientific interest and analytical thinking among students. The event was attended by heads of various departments, faculty members, new students, and other staff of the college.
