Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University organized Anti-Ragging Awareness Lecture

The University School of Law organised a lecture to observe Anti-Ragging Week at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib. Harwant Kaur, SP of Fatehgarh Sahib interacted with students over the v issues of anti ragging. Prof. (Dr.) Prit Pal Singh, Vice Chancellor and Prof. (Dr.) Sukhwinder Singh Billing, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. (Dr.) Amita Kaushal, Head and Dean of the faculty, and Inderjeet Singh, SHO Fatehgarh Sahib graced the occasion. Prof. (Dr.) Amita Kaushal formally welcomed all the dignitaries, faculty members, and students and elaborated on the provisions of the Anti-Ragging Act and the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC). She emphasised on the institution’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. She urged students to foster a culture of mutual respect and support.
 
He stressed the importance of collective responsibility in preventing ragging and fostering an atmosphere of trust and camaraderie among students.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Navneet Kaur who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their active participation and support in making the event a success.
