The Deeksharambh Student Induction Program at Desh Bhagat University (DBU) was marked by valuable and meaningful words delivered by Dr. Amarpal Singh, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, Punjab School Education Board, who grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and formally inaugurated the day’s session. In a motivational address at the DBU Campus, Dr Singh inspired students from across India as well as international students representing several countries. The event brought together young minds eager to shape their future with determination and vision. He further emphasized that cultivating a comfortable mind and finding happiness in every situation is essential for maintaining balance during student life. His motivational words left a strong impression on the young learners, encouraging them to balance academic excellence with personal well-being. On this occasion, the distinguished dignitaries Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of DBU, Dr. Sandeep Singh, President and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti extended a warm welcome and honored the chief guest of the day. While addressing the gathering, Dr. Amarpal Singh emphasized the importance of dedication, persistence, and self-belief in achieving success. “Success does not come easily; it takes hard work, dedication, and perseverance to achieve the goal. Every successful person in the world has worked hard for many hours to be where they are now. To reach the goal, one must work hard, wisely, and consistently with self-confidence,” he said.
Students and faculty members actively participated in the interactive session and in meaningful discussions.
