Anti-Ragging Week Observed at University College, Chunni Kalan

 

University College, Chunni Kalan observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August. During the week, various activities were organized to create awareness among newly admitted students about ragging and its harmful effects. In the presence of SDM Bassi Pathana, Harveer Kaur, a special lecture on anti-ragging was conducted at the college. A poster-making competition on the theme of anti-ragging was also held, and the winners were awarded. Students were also shown a short film related to ragging. The entire program was coordinated by the college’s Anti-Ragging Committee members - Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Dr. Randeep Kaur, Dr. Dalbir, and Prof. Rajpreet. Concluding the event, College Principal Dr. Vanita Garg addressed the students, highlighting the seriousness of ragging’s negative consequences. She urged both new and senior students to maintain harmony and cordial relations. On this occasion, Dr. Vibha, Dr. Davinder, and Prof. Seema Rani were also present.
