The Department of Commerce and Management at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib organized a guest lecture on “Anti-Ragging Awareness” for its postgraduate students. The session was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Narinder Kaur Multani, Former Dean Academics, Punjabi University, Patiala, who shared her valuable insights and experiences on the significance of fostering mutual respect and maintaining a ragging-free campus. Her engaging address inspired students to uphold values of empathy, kindness, and responsibility towards their peers. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Prit Pal Singh felicitated Dr. Multani, extending gratitude for her thought-provoking contribution. Prof. (Dr.) Sukhwinder Singh Billing, Dean Academic Affairs, appreciated the initiative of the Department and underlined the importance of such awareness programs in shaping a safe and supportive academic environment. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Kanchan Rani, Head of the Department of Commerce and Management. The lecture was organised by the Business Club Coordinator Dr. Ramandeep Kaur along with faculty members Ms. Randeep Kaur, Navneet Kaur, and Rekha. The Department reaffirmed its commitment to creating a positive, safe, and nurturing learning space, ensuring that every student can grow and excel in an atmosphere of dignity and mutual respect.
