Trials of Anti drone technology to be conducted tomorrow in Tarn Taran ; Anti drug Sub committee to visit as well : Aman Arora

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab is set to take a revolutionary step to combat the growing menace of drug trafficking from across the international border. Addressing the media in Ludhiana today, AAP Punjab President Aman Arora announced that the Punjab government will soon acquire state-of-the-art anti-drone technology, making Punjab the first state in the country to adopt this advanced measure against cross-border smuggling of drugs and weapons.

"Despite relentless efforts over the past three years, over 90% of drugs entering Punjab still originate from Pakistan through drones. While securing the international border is the responsibility of the BSF and the central government, their failure has necessitated this critical step by Punjab. The new technology will identify, track, and neutralize drones within a range of 10 kilometers, ensuring that such activities are effectively curbed," said Aman Arora. Some Trials for the anti-drone system have already been conducted and one will be conducted at the Tarn Taran border, with key state officials, including Cabinet Ministers Harpal Singh Cheema and Aman Arora actively participating in the evaluation process.
