List includes five ministers Meet Hayer from Sangrur, Kuldeep Dhaliwal from Amritsar, Gurmeet Khundian from Bhatinda, Laljit Bhullar from Khadur Sahib and Dr. Balbir from Patiala
Party continues to trust Sushil Rinku for Jalandhar, Punjabi artist Karamjeet Anmol fielded from Faridkot and GP from Fatehgarh Sahib
Chandigarh, March 14 (Agency) : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday released the first list of eight candidates in Punjab for the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
The list includes five ministers of Punjab Cabinet who will be fighting the general election. Cabinet Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer from Sangrur, Kuldeep Dhaliwal from Amritsar, Gurmeet Singh Khundian from Bathinda, Laljit Singh Bhullar from Khadoor Sahib and Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh from Patiala.
Aam Aadmi Party MP Sushil Rinku, who won the election from Jalandhar last year, is trusted by the party once again. The party also declared Punjabi artist Karamjeet Anmol from Faridkot and former MLA Gurpreet Singh GP, who recently joined AAP from Congress, as its candidates from Fatehgarh Sahib.
The Aam Aadmi Party has already started its campaign for the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab. The campaign is named after the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, 'Sansad Ch Vi Bhagwant Mann, Khushhal Punjab Te Vadhegi Shaan'. Mann said that we will win all the 13 seats of Punjab. He also appealed to the people to help Aam Aadmi Party win the elections by 13-0.
