Chandigarh, 29 March:
Anurag Verma, Chief Secretary of Punjab Government, appointed 10 IAS officers of Punjab Cadre by the Election Commission. A. S. Due to the posting of officers on the duty of election supervisors, orders have been issued to other officers to additionally monitor the functioning of their departments.
According to the order, Varinder Kumar Meena has been appointed as Manager Secretary Prisons, Gurkeerat Kirpal Singh as Transport and Parliamentary Affairs, Malvinder Singh Jaggi as Administrative Secretary Planning, Additional Secretary Punjab Development Commission, Director Magsipa and Administrative Secretary Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Ajit Balaji. Joshi to Divisional Commissioner Faridkot, Dilip Kumar, Managing Secretary Labour, Mohammad Taiyab as Finance Secretary and additionally M. D. P. I. D. B, Varinder Kumar Sharma has been posted as Special Secretary Water Supply and Sanitation, Additional Head of Department, Water Supply and Sanitation, Director Technical Education and Industrial Training. The functioning of the departments of Gagandeep Singh Brar, Gurinderpal Singh Sahota, Arvinderpal Singh Sandhu will be adjusted internally by the concerned department.
