Bharatiya Janata Party anti-Punjab: Harchand Singh Barsat

March 29, 2024

Patiala, 29 March:

Aam Aadmi Party State General Secretary and Punjab Mandi Board Chairman S. Harchand Singh Barsat has issued a statement saying that Bharatiya Janata Party is an anti-Punjab party because Bharatiya Janata Party has taken part in Harada in Punjab. No package was given for the loss. Even Punjab's right to rural development fund about 5700 crores was not released to Punjab. With the use of this fund, the link roads of Punjab are to be constructed and repaired. The markets are to be developed.

Financial help is given to agricultural laborers due to losses during agricultural accidents. By withholding the money of Punjabis instead of giving a separate package, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Center have proved that they are anti-Punjab. Similarly, the Center has withheld funds of more than 8000 crores for Health Mission and other funds which are the right of Punjab. On the other hand, when the farmers laborers of Punjab go to Delhi and struggle to protest, they are stopped by the borders of Punjab and Haryana with tear gas shells, bombs and concrete walls along with the roads and spiked nails. Which is a big proof of being anti-Punjab.
