On the occasion of Lord Rama's Prakash Utsav, Shri Hari Katha Samiti celebrated Ram Navami at Shri Ram Mandir in Mandi Gobindgarh. The event commenced with Sankirtan, followed by the distribution of Prasad to all participants marking the celebration of Lord Ram's Prakashotsav. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, graced the occasion as a special guest.During the event, Dr. Zora Singh emphasized the significance of Lord Rama's life and values as symbols of peace, prosperity, and social harmony. He stressed the importance of incorporating the teachings of Ramayana into our lives to build a prosperous, strong, and united society. Dr. Singh also reminded us that true happiness and peace can only be achieved through righteousness, justice, and compassion. In today's era, the messages from Lord Ram's life are crucial, inspiring us to unite everyone.Dr. Virinder Singh, Advisor to the Chancellor, highlighted how the stories and deeds from Ramayana inspire us to foster unity, harmony, and love in society. He underscored the importance of Lord Rama's guidance in shaping ideal Indian citizens.Present at the event were committee chairman Prakash Chand Garg, president Dr. Manmohan Kaushal, along with members Raj Goyal, Suresh Gupta, Sandeep Goyal, Sajjan Goyal, Davindra Parashar, Yagya Dutt, and others. Additionally, representatives from various religious committees of the city also participated.
