The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in collaboration with the Department of English of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib organized a five-day workshop on "Quality E-Content Development for Learning Management System". The workshop aimed to equip the faculty members with the skills and knowledge required to effectively develop and manage e-content within various Learning Management Systems (LMS), which are becoming increasingly integral in modern education. The resource person for the workshop was Gurkirpal Singh Ashq, a senior journalist. and Sunny Suryavanshi, Assistant Professor of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Desh Bhagat University. Both the resource persons provided valuable insights into the design, development, and implementation of e-content, emphasizing user engagement, accessibility, and pedagogical effectiveness. Around seventy participants from various departments of the University actively took part in the workshop. The sessions included hands-on training, interactive demonstrations, and discussions on best practices in digital education. The valedictory session was presided over by Prof.(Dr.) Prit Pal Singh the Vice Chancellor of the University. He urged the participants to apply their newfound skills and knowledge in their respective fields and to create Quality e content not only for the students of the University, but for the students worldwide. He expressed his delight that the event has marked a significant step toward enhancing digital literacy and fostering innovation in the teaching-learning processes within the institution. Dr. Baljeet Kaur, Assistant Professor of Department of English and the Co-Convener of the workshop welcomed the participants and outlined the goals of the workshop. Following the welcome address, Dr. Ankdeep Kaur Attwal, Head of English Department and Coordinator of IQAC presented a comprehensive overview of the workshop, emphasizing the knowledge shared by distinguished trainers, interactive sessions, and the invaluable contributions of participants. She thanked the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Prit Pal Singh and Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Sukhwinder Singh Billing for their support and motivation for organising the workshop. Participants were invited to share their feedback, and many expressed their appreciation for the depth of knowledge imparted and the practical insights gained. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ramesh Arora, Director of Internal Qualitt Assurance Cell, expressing gratitude to all participants, speakers, and volunteers who made the workshop a resounding success.
