Microsoft Skill Building Workshop Empowers Non-Teaching Staff at Desh Bhagat University

The Faculty of Engineering Technology and Computing, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Desh Bhagat University, successfully conducted a Microsoft Skill Building Workshop for non-teaching staff. The initiative aimed to enhance digital proficiency by equipping participants with practical skills in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Dr. Khushboo Bansal, Deputy Director and key speaker of the workshop, underscored the increasing importance of digital literacy in administrative and support roles. She emphasized how platforms like Excel and Teams can streamline workflows, foster better communication, and significantly boost productivity. The workshop featured interactive demonstrations and hands-on training, guiding participants through document formatting, presentation design, and advanced Excel functionalities including formulas, charts, and pivot tables. Microsoft Teams was also introduced, highlighting its utility for virtual meetings and collaboration.
Participants responded with enthusiastic feedback, appreciating the session’s relevance, clarity, and practical focus. The event, enriched by the efforts of Dr. Khushboo Bansal and Dr. H.K.
