Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, celebrated Placement Day 2025 with immense pride and enthusiasm on June 4, 2025. The event, organized by the University's Training and Placement Cell, marked a significant milestone in recognizing the accomplishments of students who secured placements in reputed organizations during the academic session 2024–2025.
Throughout the academic year, the Training and Placement Cell of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University undertook several impactful initiatives, including the Mega Career Fair 2025, multiple Placement Weeks, and focused campus recruitment drives. These events created valuable platforms for students to directly engage with leading employers from various industries. Among the notable placement highlights, ADVI Group of Institutes offered an impressive package of ₹14 LPA to students from the B.Tech (CSE) program. Skillkart Ludhiana extended a lucrative offer of ₹11 LPA to students from Commerce and Management streams. Fitelo recruited students from Food Processing and Technology, offering competitive packages, while Learning Routes offered roles with a package of ₹6 LPA. Axis Bank selected students for Operations and Sales profiles, offering a package of ₹4 LPA. In addition, 27 students from BBA, B.Com, BCA, and BA were successfully placed with Paytm Services. A significant achievement was the placement of 69 students from the Basic Sciences (Physics and Mathematics), English, and Education departments by Akal Academy, reflecting the University’s strong placement outreach across diverse academic disciplines.
The placement season saw participation from several esteemed companies, including Axis Bank, Nugen IT Services, Tech Mutant, Movidu Technology (Noida), Revocept Solutions, Codroid Hub, JST Outsourcing, Advanta Innovations, SK Minerals and Additives, Investor Clinic, Karvi Solutions (Germany), Value Prospects (Noida), Grazitti Interactive, Arora Feed Mills, Booking Koela, AspireFox, Kandhari Beverages, Chicmic Studio, LDT Technology, Alphanova Solutions, 75 Ways Technologies, Academor, YHills (Noida), and many others.
To strengthen industry-academia collaboration, the University signed multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with reputed industries during the session, aimed at providing academic support, internships, and placement opportunities. Additionally, regular industrial visits were organized across disciplines, ensuring that students gained hands-on exposure to real-world work environments.
Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, Incharge of the Training and Placement Cell, formally welcomed the Vice Chancellor Dr. Pritpal Singh, Dr. Sukhwinder Singh Billing, Dean Academic Affairs, along with distinguished guests, faculty members, recruiters, and students. In her address, she acknowledged the relentless efforts of the Placement Cell, faculty, and corporate partners in ensuring a successful placement season and empowering students to take confident steps toward their professional careers. Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Dr. Pritpal Singh congratulated the selected students and expressed his pride in their achievements. He highlighted the University’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, skill development, and holistic growth, ensuring that graduates are not only employable but also industry-ready. The celebration concluded with acknowledgments, felicitation of the placed students, and group photographs to commemorate their achievements.
