Fire Brigade Mandi Gobindgarh Conducts Mock Drill at Desh Bhagat University’s Ayurveda College

Under the vision of Dr. Kulbhushan, Director campus, DBU and Principal Dr. Hem Raj, a mock drill was conducted on fire safety at Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh campus. The staff of the Fire Brigade Mandi Gobindgarh successfully conducted a fire safety mock drill at the Ayurveda College of Desh Bhagat University, aiming to enhance preparedness and awareness among students and staff in the event of a fire emergency. The mock drill was carried out under the supervision of experienced fire officers and safety personnel fire brigade team led by Sh Pardeep Kumar Rana Assistant Divisional Fire Officer, Palakdeep Singh Fire Officer and other Staff members of Department of Punjab Fire Services, Fire Station, Mandi Gobindgarh. The exercise included demonstrations on how to use fire extinguishers, evacuation procedures, and safety protocols during a fire outbreak. Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students actively participated in the drill, gaining valuable hands-on experience. The event highlighted the importance of swift action and coordinated response during emergencies. Speaking on the occasion Pardeep Kumar Rana Assistant Divisional Fire Officer emphasized the significance of regular drills and training sessions in educational institutions to build a culture of safety and readiness.
