Chandigarh, 29 Sept
Almost 19 months after assuming charge here, Chandigarh Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma was Sunday transferred to Delhi.
Verma had assumed charge on February 7, 2024, and did not complete his tenure in Chandigarh.
An order by the Government of India said, “With the approval of the Competent Authority, Rajeev Verma, IAS (AGMUT: 1992) is hereby transferred from Chandigarh to Delhi and posted as Chief Secretary, GNCTD w.e.f. 01.10.2025 or from the date of joining whichever is later.”
