Shiromani Akali Dal suffered another major setback in Tarn Taran while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained further strength when prominent Akali leader Jashandeep Singh from village Mannan in the Tarn Taran constituency left his party and joined AAP along with his entire family.
AAP candidate Harmeet Sandhu warmly welcomed Jashandeep Singh and his family into the party and said that their joining is a testament to the growing popularity of the Aam Aadmi Party and the public’s faith in the people-centric governance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government.
Sandhu said that the induction of honest and community-oriented individuals like Jashandeep Singh will further strengthen AAP’s victory in the Tarn Taran constituency. He added that AAP’s politics is based on service and integrity, and the party will never allow the public’s trust to be broken.
