Bharti Bhushan Ashu’s ploy to send himself a vigilance notice for sympathy falls flat: Tarunpreet Sond

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sondh, exposed a conspiracy orchestrated by Congress leader Bharat Bhushan Ashu to gain political sympathy ahead of the Ludhiana West by-election.

Addressing the a press conference, accompanied by AAP Punjab Working President Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi, Minister Sondh highlighted that a vigilance notice purportedly issued against Bharat Bhushan Ashu was part of a deceitful ploy devised by Ashu himself. Upon investigation, it was uncovered that the vigilance SSP who issued the notice was a former classmate and close friend of Ashu. The minister revealed that Ashu manipulated his connections to fabricate the notice, aiming to portray himself as a victim and divert public attention from his alleged multi-crore corruption in a school land scam.

“This is possibly the first time in India’s political history that a politician has stooped so low and fabricated summons to play a victim card. Bharat Bhushan Ashu’s intent was clear—to garner sympathy by portraying himself as a target of the current government,” said Sondh.

People of Ludhiana West Ready to Deliver a Strong Verdict Against Congress and Their Theatrics on June 19: Neel Garg

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Neel Garg launched a scathing attack on Congress and its Ludhiana West by-election candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu, accusing them of resorting to sympathy-driven theatrics to mislead the public. Garg highlighted how Ashu, who is embroiled in serious corruption charges involving thousands of crores, has been exposed for attempting to manipulate public sentiment instead of focusing on genuine issues.

In a statement, Neel Garg said, “The people of Ludhiana have outrightly rejected Bharat Bhushan Ashu, as they remember his arrogant behavior during his tenure as an MLA and minister. Even prominent Congress leaders such as Sukhjinder Randhawa, Raja Warring, and Pratap Bajwa have distanced themselves from Ashu and this election. It is evident that the Congress party, under the control of its Punjab in-charge Bhupesh Baghel, is attempting to script baseless sympathy narratives, as they lack credibility and trust among the people.”
