Tarn Taran Will Back the Party That Works Among People, Not Politicians who Sit in AC Rooms: Harmeet Singh Sandhu

October 27, 2025

Tarn Taran, October 27

For the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu today said that this election will be a choice between traditional and corrupt politics and a government that truly works for the common man. Referring to the historic relief measures taken by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s AAP government for flood-affected people, Sandhu said that the people of Tarn Taran will now vote not for empty promises but for real work visible on the ground. He said that for the first time in Punjab’s history, a government has set a new record by transferring relief funds directly into the accounts of affected families within just 30 days.

In a statement issued here today, AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has stepped out of the corridors of power to reach directly into the fields, markets, and villages to hold people’s hands. “This is not a political performance but the beginning of a new style of governance,” he said.
