In a proud and inspirational moment for the city and the nation, Cadet Padma Namgail of DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh, has achieved the extraordinary by successfully scaling Mount Everest in May 2025.

In recognition of this rare and remarkable accomplishment, DAV College Chandigarh hosted a Felicitation Ceremony which was graced by Subdar Major, Dr SM Karan Singh, who honoured the Cadet Padmna Namgail for his extra ordinary bravery and commitment. Cadet Namgail triumphed over by scaling the world’s highest peak in May 2025. This extraordinary achievement is a testament to his unyielding grit and patriotic fervour.
The felicitation ceremony was graced by Dr Mona Narang, Officiating Principal, Dr Nikhlesh Thakur Associate NCC Officer, Registrar, Dr Ghanshyam Dev, Dr Amnendra Maan, among students, faculty, and distinguished guests.
